Tiny Tigers (Ages 4-6)

The Tiger program was developed specifically for preschool age children ages 4 through 6. This program offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect, and discipline. In addition, the program is designed to improve children's motor skills and enhance their ability to pay attention and follow directions. All classes are taught using the most safe, fun, and exciting instruction methods available for this age group.

Juniors (Ages 7-11)

There are many reasons for kids to become involved in the martial arts. The ATA has developed a program based on traditional Taekwondo for kids called Martial Arts Kids. The Martial Arts Kids system is based on a lifetime learning concept in addition to technical skills. The building blocks for our system are monthly themes such as:

      Goals   Friendship   Self-Esteem   Dedication

      Perseverance    Self-Control  Respect  Integrity

      Confidence  Self-Improvement  Courtesy

Teens & Adults (Ages 12+)

At Mathis Martial Arts, we tailor our programs to meet the needs of different age groups. We offer a Teens Program for ages 12–16 and an Adult Program for students 17 and older. This approach fosters a supportive environment where individuals can connect with peers, build strong friendships, and develop lasting relationships.

Our goal is to help each student achieve their personal best, regardless of their starting point. Some students begin their journey in great shape, while others may be significantly overweight or have limited flexibility. Every student is treated as an individual and is never compared to anyone else.

Our dedicated instructors will support and guide you every step of the way. The only thing we ask is that you bring a willingness to try—because at Mathis Martial Arts, we believe effort and perseverance are the keys to success.
